Brighton Science Festival

Volunteer

Volunteers are the bedrock of Brighton Science Festival. Without them we couldn’t share the wonder and weirdness of science each and every year.

The majority of our events are held in the very heart of our city; occupying theatres, pubs, cafés, community spaces and more around Brighton & Hove.

For the running of these we need volunteers to lend a hand in stewarding, cash handling, workshop assistance and brochure distribution.

However you help us at Brighton Science Festival we’ll offer you free entry to a long list of our events. Better still, you’ll get some hands-on experience in science communication and events.

Our key dates for volunteers in 2018 are:

Bright Sparks Sat 10th & Sun 11th Feb 2018 A two-day event for kids and parents, full of demos, shows and interactive science attracting 2000 visitors.

Half Term Week Sat 10th Feb – Sun 18th Feb 2018  An action packed week (and a bit) of workshops, shows, demonstrations and lots of serious fun.

…Plus an entire programme-full of other happenings to be confirmed.

Remember you don’t have to be clued up on a science to volunteer – in fact the festival exists for those that aren’t. So step on up!
