You’re probably already familiar with Minecraft, but what if instead of spending hours building houses and moving around you could do it all with a few lines of code?

Join Venture Coders for a two-hour introduction to coding using the popular real-world programming language Python and the Minecraft game. No programming experience required!

We’ll introduce you to one of the most important programming languages in the world – Python – and use it to hack Minecraft. You’ll build huge towers, teleport around the game, and blow up mountains of TNT! You’ll also get the chance to use the amazing Raspberry Pi computer.

Parents – get your children inspired to learn coding – the number one marketable skill they’ll need in the future. This short introduction will show them what computer code looks like and how it’s used in the real world to automate repetitive processes. Plus, they’ll have fun messing around with Minecraft!

Venture Coders have been helping children learn to code, build robots and learn about electronics since 2015. We run bespoke coding workshops around Worthing and Brighton for special events and festivals. They have a long history of coding, tinkering with, and occasionally breaking, some very fancy machines indeed!
