Sean Parker’s 2014 TED talk ‘Stammering and Creativity’ went on to become one of the most watched internet videos on the subject. In this extended version of the talk, Sean explains that the key to living with a stammer is acceptance, and he presents this idea with glitz and humour – and there’s audience Q&A throughout.

Sean is a writer, musician, artist and label manager. With the bands Scorpio Rising, Arch Inch, SPB, through his solo work and through his collaborations with experimental musician Ettuspadix, he has released many albums on the Seraglio Point Productions label.

He is a prolific writer – he’s published six books and his work has appeared in Cosmopolitan, Time Out,, USA Today, Multicultural Guide (Ankara/Istanbul), Louder Than War, and regularly at Getintothis. He has performed on stage over 150 times, appeared in five short films and appeared on radio and television.

He has organised three festivals, worked with the Brighton Real Music Club and Hove and Worthing Skeptics in the Pub groups, and performed with Ed Harcourt, The Membranes and Turkish art rock band Replikas, among others.
