All the fun of the fair, plus all the buzz of science!

It looks like a funfair; it IS a funfair, but each activity has a little science snuck in. The Incredible Machine, Splat the Rat, Guess the Weight of the Cake, Gull Poo Shooting Gallery, Amazing Shrinking Box, Upside-down Goggles, Marble Runs, Tangrams…  Created by BBC Rough Science’s Jonathan Hare and science showman Richard Robinson, director of Brighton Science Festival.

The Pocket Science Funfair runs from Friday 1st – Sunday 3rd November. Every day we will have different special guests presenting their own unique activity to get involved with.

The Marine Conservation Society talks rubbish!
Look at where pollution starts and trace litter back to its source. Match up litter with its breaking down age. Test your knowledge on our seashore safari – do you know your whelks from your winkles?

Bee ready
Discover the challenges of navigating the world form the perspective of a bee in our VR game. You score points by finding as many flowers as you can in 90 seconds. Sound’s easy enough… doesn’t it?


Finga Ninjas!
Join SamiArt & The Finga Ninjas at the i360 for colourful finger-knitty fun for any age! Learn the skill of finger-knitting & craft your own items – bring ya fingers, Ninjas! £3 per person. For more info visit:
