O N C A Barge Art ‘n’ Science Club

Tsai Tung Li - Memories of the Barge

Thursday 31 October 2019

10:00am - 3:00pm

Join ONCA and friends for half term fun for kids on the ONCA Barge!

Two days of workshops and fun, learning about Brighton’s local biodiversity and marine life with an interdisciplinary team of artists and educators. You can sign up for both days or just one.

Spend time outdoors learning about Brighton’s Marine Conservation Zone and then come back to ONCA’s very own floating Barge space to get creative, using materials such as clay slip, charcoal, pencil, coloured playdoh/air dry clay/felt and sponge as well as found natural materials.

Kids will play games, learn about local biodiversity and take part in activities such as making a giant chalk reef.  Activities will be linked to the National Science Curriculum.

Additional Info: All ONCA facilitators have DBS checks. Please let us know in advance if your child has specific needs that we should be aware of. Please bring packed lunches (not nuts) and waterproof clothes as we will spend time outdoors as well as on board the Barge. We encourage anyone that come along not to use plastic.

Thursday – Friday 31st October – 1st November

10:00am – 3:00pm

£20 per day, £35 for both days , tickets available via Eventbrite
