What is a lever? How can a lever help make your life easier? Can a lever help your model critter jump higher and what happens when you join several levers together? All these questions and more will be answered during this fun workshop.

This workshop includes lots of simple making activities and experiments that help you begin exploring and understanding forces, movement and levers. Little fingers will need help with some of the cutting and gluing so that you can make some fantastic models that move, jump and link together.

This workshop is particularly aimed at younger children. Children over 7yrs are welcome to book tickets for this workshop (if coming with their brothers & sisters), but may find the making activities very easy. The Making Place is running a follow on workshop on Fri 1 and Sat 2 November aimed at children age 8 and over which looks at movement and linkages in more detail.

Ages 4-7

£11 per child (accompanying adults free, max 2 children per adult)
