Have you ever wondered how woven fabric is made? In this fun and experimental workshop you will learn all about weaving, using your very own handmade loom to weave on. You will learn the method of weaving, how it’s made, the structure, how it differs from other types of fabrics and how it’s used in the industry – with examples.

We love creative learning and making things, we will be showing you how to create your own loom from a simple piece of cardboard, something you can take home and develop your new skills more, such a fun way to learn! We will be using recycled fabric yarn to weave with.

You will learn how to weave a piece of fabric that can be transformed taken home to complete or left as a piece to hang on your wall.
