Cycle faster than the speed of light with science-artist Nick Sayers, on a fun 4.5km bike tour of the planets, along Centurion Way in the South Downs National Park. Explore the worlds of the Solar System at a billionth true scale on this guided ride, with NASA photo flags and planet-sized fruit and veg. If Jupiter is a watermelon, the Earth is a blueberry…

Two rides daily (starting at 10.30am or 2pm), lasting approximately 2.5 hours, on Thursday 15, Friday 16 and Saturday 17 February.

Bring a road-safe bike, lights, warm waterproof clothes, thick socks and your curiosity.

Nick Sayers is a Brighton-based artist whose work explores the abstract worlds of physics, engineering and mathematics through the use of familiar materials. He has produced public art sculpture commissions, delivered educational workshops, and given talks on mathematical art at schools and universities.
