A magical journey into the wonderful science of bubbles, studying the shape, vibration, and density of these soapy floating orbs. The show is led by Simon Fortune, an eccentric musical bubbleologist whose bubbly personality helps put the pop into popular science.

How much do you know about bubbles? How many sides can they have? Ever seen a tetrahedron bubble? What happens when sound travels through a bubble? As well as answers, you’ll get songs, magical characters and a bubble portal.

Simon’s experiments with soap and water lead to some fascinating insights. Using smoke, helium, and methane, he brings bubbles to life with volcano tricks, tornado experiments and fiery explosions. Learn how bubbles make the invisible visible, and why the sphere is the most energy-efficient shape. With a kid in a bubble as the finale, you will never think of a bubble in the same way again (especially if you happen to be the kid).
