Anatomy night: Matters of the heart

Thursday 13 February 2020

6.30pm - 7.30pm

Join us for a rather different event ahead of Valentine’s Day as anatomists from BSMS explore the scientific wonders of the heart.

Our anatomists will take you on a guided tour of this remarkable organ while dissecting a real one live. You will see how blood enters the heart, where the real heartstrings are and understand how it beats.

At the end of the tour, you can even get your gloves on and get involved! The dissection will be followed by Q&As. The session will be run by Prof Claire Smith and Ms Catherine Hennessy.

Suitable for all ages

6.30 – 7.30pm

Tickets: £5.00 + booking fee (proceeds to local heart charities).
