23rd Festival of the Spoken Nerd

Online ticket sales have ended. Tickets are now being sold on the door .

Festival of the Spoken Nerd are back at the Brighton Science Festival with a brand new night of comedy for the insatiably sci-curious. This year, stand-up mathematician Matt Parker, geek songstress Helen Arney and experiments guy Steve Mould are looking at Life, Oh Life. They're asking: Who are we? Where do we come from? And... are we nearly there yet?

So join three of the UK's best (and nerdiest) performers for an evening of science, comedy, maths, music and interactive experiments as they create a variety show for the fearlessly inquisitive. There’s always time for questions at the end, and extra marks if you show your workings.

Bring along all five of your senses, plus curiosity and humour, as the Spoken Nerds investigate everything from australopithecus to olympic athletes, via astrobiology and artificial intelligence.

Saturday 23rd February
8pm Sallis Benney Theatre, 58-67 Grand Parade, Brighton, BN2 0JY
Tickets £9/£6 available online or on the door. Ages 16+
