17th Build Brighton: Mmm Pi
The Raspberry Pi has been hailed as the next big thing in so many ways – programming in schools, hobby robotics, even taking photos from the edge of space! But just how do you get it talking to the world around it?
This five hour workshop will take you through getting your Pi connected to a whole manner of electronics: temperature sensors, motor controllers, light detectors – and then report all this info out to Twitter & it’s own wee website!
All equipment and components will be provided, including a prototyping shield to make it easy to add custom electronics and wiring.
Sunday 17th February
11am-5pm Shed A, Rodhus Studios, 16-30 Hollingdean Road, BN2 4AA
Tickets £50 with own Pi, £85 including a full Pi kit. Ages 12+ (with parent or guardian). Booking and details from Build Brighton.
