White Heat is your chance to get involved in some serious fun with hands-on workshops, experiments and demonstrations for all the family, especially 10-14yr olds.

Windmill Workshops
Mix paper, hot glue and imagination to make a contribution to tomorrow's world: design and build a wind turbine. There as many original designs as there are people to do them.

Matt Parker demonstrates a new dimension: a curious mathematical world where shapes don't behave how you would expect them to. Expect, among other surprises, massive toroidal ‘smoke rings' flying around the room.
