windpower

As the energy crisis deepens, wind power  seems a good way forward. But is it technically viable, economically sustainable and aesthetically acceptable? How do other options compare? The motion to be debated is:

Let’s have lots of onshore wind turbines – what’s the problem?

We expect a lively debate and much discussion on this and other topics.

Among the expert speakers will be

Peter Halsall, Managing Director of BioRegional Quintain,

Simon Clydesdale – Senior Policy Adviser at Greenpeace

Charlie Field – Head of Operations at SeaRoc
