Twelve talks to chose from, including Ben Miller, Polly Toynbee and 'The Bigger Bang's Hal Sosabowsy. In between, eat, drink, chat, browse, try Penrose Jigsaws, undergo sudoku therapy, play games.

The Lions Face

A symposium about Alzheimers, a prelude to the opera to be premiered at the Brighton Arts Festival, with talks from doctors, scientists, composer and librettist. For opera lovers, science fans and anyone who has been touched by the social, emotional and physical impacts of Alzheimer's

 

Elementary Carbon
7.00pm,
A play about that most fundamental molecule, without which life would be impossible. A collaboration between Organic Theatre and Malcolm Heggie, Professor of Theoretical Chemistry at the University of Sussex.

Life, the Universe & Everything

11.00am – 5.30pm
A full day on one theme – The common link between all living things. Bacteria do it, amoebas, ant and bees do it, humans do it; we all achieve marvels by working together, in ways that are startlingly similar, no matter how primitive or sophisticated we are.
